"My Falling House" - At Freddy's House
I raise my hands
and stretch the dry skin of old age
all the lines draw an ending
without time for amendments
time went by
my old house became smaller
all my doors seem too narrow
as my shadow grows taller
the stairs inside my falling house
pile the dust of old days
I laze beneath the rusty hatch
where I once locked the sunshine
I am home
I could lay here where the walls tell my story
I rest my head down on the cold floor
I can wait here for a while, before morning
the light inside my falling house
warms the dust of old days
from the roof the open hatch
cuts half my ageing shadow.

"Tempest Girl" - At Freddy's House
hey you, I’m knocking at your door
hey you, they told me you were gone
but I ran
I ran so many miles
just like dust, I’ll wait and sit around
please come out or let me in
can you still just dance with me?
I’ll whistle our song
are you lost or locked away?
are you hiding like a secret?
I’ll find out where you are
hey you, I’m waiting at your door
hey you, you told me you were home
just like rain, you’re running down the stairs
and you move like wind across the floor
will your frail roof hold the storm
while you laugh and dance with me?
a twister growing strong
can I stay and hold you close?
let my long arms be your ceiling
my legs can be your walls

"Silver" - Sean Riley & The Slowriders
Your hair is silver now
Deep blue eyes prettier by the day
Too busy being young
Now I regret times spent far away
I'll never leave again
We both learnt time keeps running away
If I only had a wish
I'd wish we hadn't learned the hardest way
All I want is to make you feel loved
And all I care if it makes you feel better
All or nothing is all we ever had
And now we know we can't stay forever.
Life's not always fair
Yours was tough right from the start
Things I couldn't get when I was younger
Now bleed my heart
But I'll never leave again
We both learnt time keeps running away
If I only had a wish
I'd wish we hadn't learned the hardest way
All I want is to make you feel loved
And all I care if it makes you feel better
'Causes all or nothing is all we ever had
And now we know we can't stay forever, ever, ever, ever...
Forever, forever, forever
Forever, forever,
"Canção Ulterior" - Samuel Úria
Colisões
de um corpo a serem dois
Leis do chão
que nem o Newton sabe quais são
Em crateras ou degraus
estamos brutos ou cativos
ou somos maus
vão-se os dedos
mais modas do que medos
vão-se anéis
mas isso é tão 2006
temos sorte aos maus amores
temos mãos do mesmo naipe
de perdedores
se esse amor era a prisão
sê bem-vindo à masmorra
tu escondida e eu sem escolha
1,2,3, perdeste a vez
rebenta a bolha
se esse amor era a prisão
sê bem-vindo à masmorra.
"Sicilian Relation(ship)" - Long Way To Alaska
I was in a tiny bar
with Sophie and Caroline,
Whisky and tequilla, we can't lie,
embellishing this blue warm night.
Sophie the little cute one,
shades of green filled her eyes.
Caroline the childhood love,
age seems to have killed her dove.
Neither of them (4x), passion seems to rise (4x).
Apathy leads to a cliff.
A cloudy sight brings me a ship,
where a whale married a panda,
Craddled by the sicilian sea.
"This Woman" - Sean Riley & The Slowriders
This woman is crazy
Comes around now and then
And shouts some words at me.
I can't remember where we met
Up north near the border
Or down south by the sea.
She's wrong most of the times
But it's times when she's right
She really gets to me.
So I pray
Not to see her again
Everytime she comes around
Oh I pray
Not to see her again
Everytime she comes around
But I know it's not gonna be easy
I don't know where she is
I don't know where she is now.
She always finds a way to find me
I can't run away, there's no way out
No way I'm gonna stay, another day.
So I pray
Not to see her again
Everytime she comes around
Oh I pray
Not to see her again
Everytime she comes around
But I know it's not gonna be easy
It's not gonna be easy
It's not gonna be easy
So I pray
Not to see her again
Everytime she comes around
So I pray
Not to see her again
Everytime she comes around
I know it's not gonna be easy
It's not gonna be easy
It's not gonna be easy
It's not gonna be easy
"26 Years" - Sean Riley & The Slowriders
Do you remember that song we used to sing along?
Twenty-six years, dead and gone.
Do you remember those nights we used to stay inside?
All those years, side by side.
Lord I, lord I, lord I know, the time has come...
Lord I, lord I, lord I know, just get it done...
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Watering the flowers only make them rush
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
No one left love, no one you can trust...
The chapel bells ringing,
A black raven singing
As lonely in the end as he was in the beginning.
Ant-like people run around you
The smell of fresh blood makes them form a long queue.
Long black veils,
Women biting off their nails and Jesus on The Cross
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.
Watering the flowers only make them rush
The chapel bells ringing,
A black raven singing
As lonely in the end as he was in the beginning.
Ant-like people run around you
The smell of fresh blood makes them form a long queue.
Long black veils,
Women biting off their nails and Jesus on The Cross
Jesus on The Cross
One! Two! Three! Long, black, rusty nails.
The Book of Revelations,
United resignations,
I'm sick of being patient.

"Lights Out" - Sean Riley & The Slowriders
Kicked me off her bed
Slammed the door on my face
I walked away with shame
Empty handed, in desgrace
Cold cold night and I´m walking all alone
Lights out in the city
Everybody´s gone
Saturday night out came out wrong
She´s sleeping on the couch and I´m gone
Saturday night out came out wrong
She´s sleeping on the couch and I´m gone
Take a cab down-town
The driver was a wise man
For five pounds only
He showed me what he´s planned
The present is now past
The future has just left
You take good care now
Wish you all the best
Cold cold night out
I´m walking all alone
Lights out in the cities
Everybody´s gone
Don'tyou stand waiting by the telephone
If anyone calls just say he´s gone
Don'tyou stand waiting by the telephone
If anyone calls just say he´s gone

"Harry Rivers" - Sean Riley & The Slowriders
Well, Harry Rivers is a friend of mine,
moved out of the city to the countryside.
Tell me doctor, how much time I have got?
Don't worry man, more than a lot.
So run hug your brother, get along with your father,
I'll hide all the pills, rifles and daggers.
Harry loves drinkin', Harry loves fishin'
But he spends his days mostly wishin'(x2)
How life could be a little less harsh on him
How life could be a little less harsh on Harry
Well, I remeber Harry ten years ago,
ringing my door bell, not doing well.
He couldn't sleep for days, wearing the same shirt,
blood on his hands, someone got hurt.
I took him home and got him in bed,
sat by his side, Louise looked sad.
Harry loves drinkin', Harry loves fishin'
But he spends his days mostly wishin'(x2)
How life could be a little less harsh on him
If only life could be a little less harsh on Harry
How life, how life, how life...
How life, how life, how life...
Life, life, life...
